Update time
It's been a while, Dream Team!
Honestly, I have so much I could talk to you all about because life has been living you all, from school to personal. But, instead of this being a specific topic I am just going to give a little update!
Thesis Defense!
So, first things first, your girl is graduating! Man, I'm really about to get this degree! I am so excited, yall have no idea! I defended my thesis on April 16th, 2025, and passed! Honestly, one of the best days ever, because after everything I have been through, I have made it this far. If you would like to see my thesis photo, click here.
I have been having job interviews back to back! Honestly I have been keeping my expectations low but keeping my faith in God! It has just been stressful feeling anxious after every interview, so I have just been keeping low feelings and high faith tbh! I had my first on-campus experience! It is an interesting vibe, a lot of question and I mean A LOT, but it was cool!
Last thing honestly is that I have been realizing my life is changing rapidly. I will have my first real like career path job loading soon. I will have my masters. Hopefully, I will move for the last time for at least 5-6 years. The world just feels like its coming at me sooo fast, and all I can do it take it.
OU! OH YEAH!
OOOOO, I almost forgot! I went back to The Ohio University man, I had sooo much fun! Shout Out to all the Black Alumni and current students. I am so glad we showed up and showed out despite the government and higher administration trying to stop us from coming together. I got to see some many friend and meet so many new people that it was just chefs kiss! I can not lie! I may not be back for a while, but it was great to be hOUme and to see friend I have not seen since I graduated or they graduated!
Anyways yall, I will be more consistent when life calms down. I want to get back to reading and my blogs asap! They two things other than crafting that relaxes me but is hard to do when you’re constantly writing a paper and reading articles haha.
